GeoPermits Project Manager

This role will lead client on-boarding and consulting activities for assigned projects in our popular GeoPermitsTM e-Government solution, as well as provide additional Staff Augmentation duties for an assigned portfolio. Come help clients implement our industry leading solutions that are changing the way local governments operate. Train customers on how to make the best use of solutions, and redesign workflows to take advantage of the most modern technologies. After implementation and training, periodically follow up with clients to make sure all your hard work is paying off for them. This person will work closely with local government clients to configure their GeoPermits software for optimal online application and processing of permits and registrations for Planning & Zoning, Building/Construction, Code Enforcement, Highway, Health, E911 and many other departments. We are looking for a team member that has strong technical skills and advanced knowledge of both geospatial and local government operations, with a specific emphasis in SaaS solutions and professional services. Qualifications that make you a perfect fit. • BA/BS or Certificate in Community and Regional Planning, Construction Management and Inspection, Public Administration, GIS, Geography, or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience working with geospatial and/or e-Government solutions. • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a consultancy environment preferred. • Demonstrated experience with geospatial and e-government solutions, particularly under a SaaS and professional services model. Direct implementation experience strongly desired. • Knowledge of GIS technologies, ESRI's ArcGIS platform. • Strong work ethic and proactive approach • Desire to work in small teams with an entrepreneurial attitude. • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate (oral and written) in the English language and possess excellent grammar skills. • Strong problem solving and analytical skills. • Willingness to learn new skills • A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to be covered by the company’s insurance are required. • This position may require periodic travel to client sites, varying from light to medium travel depending on assigned portfolio.
