Zylo is looking for a Data Analyst to join the team and help companies track, manage and optimize their SaaS investments with powerful insights into spend, utilization and feedback. Our company is working with customers to give them visibility into previously hidden or unknown SaaS-related spend, and providing the platform for them to manage their cloud licensing on an ongoing basis. Reporting into the Analytics Manager, you will lead customer data classification, analysis and reporting centered around our application– an analytical role designed to identify and provide actionable insights on all SaaS spending within the customer’s organization. Specifically, your role will consist of the following activities: Manage the customer data process from receiving data and validating data to classification and final report delivery. Assemble master data sets for each customer; understanding, reporting back on and troubleshooting data anomalies. Prepare various ad-hoc reports on customer SaaS footprint on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Work with Analytics Manager to uncover new operational efficiencies that can be proposed to product team to drive continuous, operational improvement. Assemble the final customer deliverable, which professionally and elegantly summarizes customer SaaS detail, and provides valuable insights for a customer to act upon. Be a central customer advocate, providing them with any information needed related to the product, or their own internal spend/utilization/sentiment data. Act as the primary intake point for Zylo’s “white glove” Contract Concierge service for ingesting customer supplier contracts and extrapolating key metadata. Proactively search for SaaS insights for customer data set, identifying new trends and benchmarking opportunities for all SaaS applications. Compile relevant SaaS industry data/findings that can be used for thought-leadership content and white-paper creation. Other Desired Qualifications include: 1+ years proven database (SQL) and analysis experience, working with large sets of data and creating insights/analyses from the dataset. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite – strong expertise in Excel. Analytical, problem-solving thinking with the ability to convert high level strategy into an actionable, tactical plan. Ability to manage multiple projects, across multiple customers in a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and write Python scripts and work with data analysis packages (e.g. pandas) Strong communication skills, with an ability to tactfully and skillfully assist, convince and delight customer and internal stakeholders.
